David Lewis
With a background in architecture and urban design, David is passionate about cities, design, and attention to detail. With every trip and adventure he takes, inspiration is brought home and applied to the work he does every day in Jackson, MS. In his role as Deputy Director of Cultural Services, David runs the city’s performing arts center and oversees an arts center, planetarium, local museum, and art gallery. His love for travel has greatly influenced and is a perfect complement to his work in the tourism industry.
Whether showing people around his hometown or visiting a destination like Walt Disney World Resort or New York City, David loves to share his experiences traveling with everyone he meets. His travels have taken him to Switzerland, the Netherlands, South Africa, 30 of the 50 states and have included sailing in the British Virgin Islands, road tripping to the Grand Canyon, almost 20 trips to Walt Disney World, 3 trips to Disneyland in California, and a Disney Cruise.
