Main Street Travel, LLC is looking for individuals who have a passion for travel, enjoy creating memories for others, have strong attention for detail, and are looking for a work at home opportunity. It is our purpose to help you build a business that is profitable and successful to you. We offer training and support to make you a successful travel planner, and have a proven track record of building planners who have done so.
Our Work at Home Independent Contractor program is quite simple, for a small yearly fee, we provide you with the tools and training you need to become a successful travel planner. You are given every opportunity to ask questions, get help, and get the guidance you need to book a successful vacation for your clients. Main Street Travel will walk you hand in hand through the entire vacation planning process until you are comfortable enough to do it on your own. We provide online support, webinars & education to help you grow your business.
Main Street is great for the novice travel planner, and also for an expert travel planner. Commission is based on your experience.
Main Street Travel is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, but we also book World Wide Destinations. From Theme Parks, Cruises, All Inclusive’s, Guided Tours, Individual Family Trips, Group Travel & Student Group Travel. You will be offered the opportunities to travel to gain first hand experience, attend webinars hosted by our preferred suppliers, and take online courses on your own to further your destination knowledge. Your opportunities are endless. Main Street works closely with our preferred travel suppliers to ensure your guests a fantastic vacation. Though most training offered by our suppliers is free, Familiarization (FAM) trips usually have a cost associated, and are for travel planners only.
Main Street Travel, LLC is a member of the International Association of Travel Agents (IATA), Travel Leaders, Travel Agents of Tennessee (TAT), and an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
Let us add a note here: If you are interested in selling travel but do not have any interest with Disney Destinations, but maybe you have strong travel experience with other destinations around the World, we welcome you to apply. Please answer each questions below, even if its geared toward Disney, in the best way possible relating to the destinations that you are familiar with. Do not call yourself an expert in any destination unless you have visited that destination more than 5 times in the past 10 years.
What it takes to be a Main Street Travel Planner
You must have visited Walt Disney World no less than 3 times in the past 5 years. If you have personal experience with Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, Disneyland, or Adventures by Disney, this is a plus.
You must pass a background check.
Must be willing to invest time and passion to your travel business.
You must have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Be willing to Solo travel occasionally, no family/friends allowed, to experience a destination & get first hand training.
Must have strong Social Media skills.
Must have strong computer, spelling & vocabulary skills.
Must have a GO GET EM & POSITIVE attitude and a strive to succeed. We want Hustlers!
Must have a passion for Disney Destinations.
Those whom are shy do not do well at this job. You must be willing to speak in front of others with confidence. We will ask you to step outside of your comfort zone.
Must be willing to get out into your community at least twice a year to promote your business.
Travel Experience is always a bonus!
